FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

It’s an exciting weekend for a Halifax-based television production company.
Two documentaries by Arcadia Entertainment premiere this weekend. Buried at Sea is featured as part of CBC’s Passionate Eye Showcase Saturday, April 5th at 11pm (AST.) Chasing Wild Horses premieres on Bravo! Sunday April 6th at 9pm (AST.)
Buried at Sea examines the disturbing problem of chemical, conventional and nuclear weapons disposed in the world’s oceans. From mustard gas dumped off Nova Scotia to sites in Belgium, Britain, Italy and the Baltic – this is a documentary with a global vision. Director John Wesley Chisholm even investigates a ‘lost’ hydrogen bomb off the coast of Savannah, Georgia. Buried at Sea catalogues a list of potential calamities and reminds viewers that out of site doesn’t mean out of mind. Buried at Sea has featured in last year’s Atlantic Film Festival, as well as, the Santa Barbara Ocean Film Festival.
Chasing Wild Horses is the story of a New York fashion photographer who finds true beauty on a remote island off the coast of Nova Scotia. Roberto Dutesco regards Sable Island’s wild horses as the ultimate supermodels. He returns from the stormiest outpost of the North Atlantic to dazzle New York’s fashion intelligentsia with stunning portraits of rugged beauty. Dutesco’s photography may be seen at www.dutesco.com.
